Very Noisy running . Does not freeze /chill adaquitely , must be on coldest temp setting and it never freezes under 10f* and air vents are not blocked. With coldest temp on refrigerator it struggles to maintain 38-40f* degrees, and safe zone is 34-40*degrees. Also this unit emits an unusual odor that irritates the sinuses, which smells similar to plastic or vinyl overheating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
