Wrapped in Plastic Wrap

Just received this refrigerator so I can’t speak to its performance or longevity. However, the doors are wrapped in a plastic wrap (think Saran Wrap) so much so that the doors, hinges, and handles all need to be removed so that the plastic can be removed properly (otherwise it rips and plastic is shown on the face of the fridge). This is very time consuming and unnecessary. This will be the last GE product I purchase.

We are more than happy to provide guidance with your new refrigerator. This unit is shipped with a protective film to protect the surfaces of the appliance. It may also have packaging tape that will need to be removed, as this tape keeps the appliance protected while being transported. We are confident that once this protective packaging is removed that you will enjoy this beautiful new refrigerator for many years to come!
