We bought this “garage ready” refrigerator as a second frig in the garage, hoping that it will perform as advertised, and will withstand the excessive heat here in Texas. I added thermometers inside to track the temperature, and so far it is working just fine.

My only complaint is that it's difficult to see what's in the fresh food section. You have to bend way over, since the freezer door is in your line of sight from a standing position.
It took about 24 hours to reach operating temperature after we hooked it up and loaded it with food. Since then, it's running well and keepung a consistent temperature in both compartments.
The surface smudges easily ( typical for stainless steel), but is fairly easy to clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Gets the job done

I ordered the fridge for the garage. Our kitchen fridge just didn’t have enough storage for our needs. This fridge had great reviews and though I’ve only used it for a short time it gets the job done.

GE Fridge Doing Great

This refrigerator works great, has plenty of room inside, and keeps everything cool, or frozen. It is a pretty design as well. It is kind of loud when it kicks on, but now that we know the noise - no problem :) GE is my new favorite brand after replacing all of my 'other brand' appliances, that went out, with GE :)
