We removed our small freezer chest and replaced with this new refrigerator. We wanted a refrigerator in the garage and another freezer. We solved our problem with this refrigerator and still had a freezer large enough for us.

The freezer door doesn't securely close. Every time you close the lower fridge door, it causes the upper freezer door up come ajar. If you don't notice it, it will be open and your freezer will start to thaw. I have to use bungee cords to keep the door closed. The freezer doesn't get down to zero.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can Handle the Heat

Besides some slight damage (crack in the cover inside the fridge) This has performed exactly as it is supped to. the quality of the fridge appears adequate nothing too fancy but it is a lower cost fridge so it is to be expected. What is above quality soo far is the fridges ability to maintain its temperature in above average conditions. Temps in our garage is on a hot day 110 degrees or higher and it still is functioning as it is supposed to.

The smallest and worst performing ice maker I have ever seen. Ice makers were perfected 20 years ago. You have just gone ahead and made it bad. Congratulations.

Works great in our garage. Nice size freezer. Refrigerator is stores our extras taht our inside refrigerator can not hold. It keeps everything nice a cold.
