Bought this because it was the only one available and mine quite working. I have tried setting it at manufacturing recommendations but the freezer not refrigerator keep food. Turned temperature down to lowest setting and it is better but still not good. Overall, this frog would be fine for single person who doesn't cook or 2nd beverage frig. Not designed for a family of someone who cooks. Can't wait to get a real frig--

Met All Expectations

This unit is just right for installation in the garage. The slate blended in with other features within our garage. The unit is very quiet. With our high ambient temperatures in AZ the settings had to be adjusted to 4 in both the refrigerator and freezer to meet the specified maximum safe food storage temperatures. We put small mechanical ref/freezer thermometers in both compartments to monitor the temperatures when we open the doors.

Extremely disappointed until issue is resolved

Disappointed until temperature is resolved .fridge delivered in 8/17and worked well for approx 30 hrs when the fridge temperature was not working . Dial is 0-5 , fridge is on 5 and temperature is not cooling . Waiting for service to evaluate 8/24. Hoping this is a simple fix but very inconvenient and frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GE Garage Ready Gem

Great frig with beautiful outside color. Inside the refrigerator and freezer were spacious and we'll appointed. It's hard to find a regular refrigerator (freezer top) less than 20 cubic feet that's a good price. This is it!

Good basic fridge big freezer

Only 1 month old but bought as a spare to keep in garage -in Northern New Jersey so hot summer colder winters - we will see how it handles but so far so good. Good price lots of room in both compartments with separate temp controls. Supposed to be garage ready - I think this is exactly what we wanted - don't need internet access just a solid product -seems to be so.
