We have only owned this unit for one month, but are pleased with it so far. As a garage unit, it has sufficient storage capacity. The refrigerator door seals are very good, and the door shelving supports seem sturdy.
Freezer does not get cold enough. ice cream, frozen packs soft.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a great little refrigerator. We (my wife) thinks we should have purchased a larger one. Not my fault. Was her decision to get this one. We will survive with this one because it appears to be a quality product.
I'm very disappointed--freezer setting is on 5, and the freezer temperature will not stay at or near 0. It's going up to 10 degrees before it starts running--I'm now waiting for my second service call from the retailer, who gave the unhelpful advice of "if food isn't thawing, it's fine." I wanted a different model, but after waiting 2 months with no delivery date, I agreed to pay more for this model--a decision I regret.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Ann3030 - Thanks for sharing your experience. We're so sorry for any inconvenience you've experienced with your refrigerator. Please keep in mind temperature measurements in the fresh food and freezer compartments should never be made of the air. Air temperature fluctuates during defrost and during door openings. Here is some great information on measuring refrigerator internal temperatures: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=19479

A welcome addition but was a little surprised how much the compressor runs! Had to call the factory because it didn't appear to shut off for 3 days. The factory explained that it runs 80 to 90 percent of the time and is designed that way. I wouldn't have been so concerned had I known that.
