What I like best about this refrigerator is the wide and deep shelves on the door. It is fairly quiet when running. We are currently using it in the kitchen while waiting for larger refrigerator on order and plan to use it as a spare in the garage as it is "garage ready".
This is an awful fridge. My 1974 Frigidaire was an excellent fridge. It lasted till July of 2021. It had an egg storage area for 24 eggs..the GE has none. The freezer had a container for ice cubes and an area for the container with trays for making new cubes..the GE has nothing. The vegetable drawers slid easily and we're very strong...the GE drawers drag or stick when moving them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi, Thanks for your valuable feedback! We really appreciate it and we'll be sure and pass along your comments about the lack of egg storage and drawers not sliding easily to our refrigerator team. Our apologies for any inconvenience you've experienced. Sharing your thoughts helps us with improving design and quality in future products. Thanks again! - Sharon@GEA
The new refrigerator is the right size, and doing a great job in the house. It is so dependable, and the space is just right; it seems like I have always had this very one.
We have always purchased GE appliances for a reason. They last for along time. Parts are available and i repair my own appliances. This was purchased for our garage, spare refrigerator.
This fridge is exactly what I was looking for. A "garage ready" compressor that works in extreme temps. Its a prefect size to keep summer drinks and wine cold and lots of freezer space for desserts and popsicles. Its worked perfectly for the summer; I'll have to wait and see how well it performs during the winter months.
I've only had fridge for 2 weeks. Sp far, so good, but 2 weeks is not an adequate time to give a meaningful rating.

Congratulations on the new refrigerator! We're happy to hear you are off to a good start and confident you will enjoy it. Keep in touch and let us know how things go. - John@GEA
This what we called getting a 'small' fridge is exactly what we needed for an extra one to keep in the garage! It has LOTS of room, almost as much as our huge one in the house! Well worth the price!
