Never realized a refrigerator/freezer combo had a "garage ready" feature. It'll be a huge energy saver and the additional space with this model is great.

Great storage for a smaller fridge

This is our third GE kitchen appliance purchase. Due to space issues we needed a smaller refrigerator. This one is 19.1 cubic ft and is laid out nicely. The freezer is larger than we expected. We are happy with all of our GE appliances: oven/microwave combo, dishwasher, and now this refrigerator.

Perfect as 2nd Refrigerator

I wanted a 2nd (overflow) refrigerator, placed in my garage. This refrigerator was suggested to me because it’s constructed to withstand temperature extremes (hot & cold environs). Very roomy top freezer (frost free) is great for storing my “make ahead & freeze” food entrees & sides. Perfect because it doesn’t have any wasted space or features unnecessary in a 2nd refrigerator. Love it!!

Loud running noise

The newer model refrigerators run for longer periods of time to make sure the internal temperatures are consistent in the fresh food and freezer compartments.
