Seems to work OK. Had to buy additional shelf. Not enough room with original shelfs. Refrigerator is very loud when motor is running, driving me crazy. My 40 year old Refrigerator was quieter.

Hi there, thanks for reaching out to us. We're sorry your refrigerator doesn't have the space you'd like and that it's running louder than expected. We can understand how this would be frustrating, so we can assure you we'll be sharing your comments with our product development team for future consideration.
Please also know modern refrigerators have new features and are more energy efficient than older ones. The foam insulation used in new models has excellent insulating capabilities and is very energy efficient, however it is not as sound absorbent as previously used fiberglass insulation.
Hard surfaces such as ceramic tile, vinyl or hard wood floors, walls and kitchen cabinets may make these operating sounds more noticeable. As a result, certain sounds may be unfamiliar on a new refrigerator at first. These sounds are normal and are usually an indication that the refrigerator is operating properly.
With that said, please know your feedback goes a long way in us making sure we're capitalizing on opportunities to improve upon our appliances, so we appreciate you reaching out.
Well I’ve only had it for 2 days but everything I’ve read about freezer temperature says it should be set at zero and below. At the coldest setting in the freezer it only goes down to 1.4 degrees and then climbs to 9 degrees before cooling again. I’m sure that this is fine right now but with some age on the fridge it will probably climb in temperature and it’s already dialed to it’s lowest setting. I will be calling GE tomorrow to find out if this is normal. If it is, I may drop it to 1 star. If it should be colder and they resolve the problem I would raise it to 5 stars.

Hello there, thank you for bringing this to our attention. We're sorry your freezer's temperatures aren't running at a consistent temperature. We can imagine this being concerning for you and we're happy to help.
The freezer section in a refrigerator should measure between -5 and +8 degrees Fahrenheit. For the best help, we recommend consulting the following troubleshooting tips: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=21185
If your freezer were to continue to go above 8 degrees Fahrenheit or if this worsened, we would recommend taking advantage of your warranty and scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. You can do so by calling GE Appliance Service at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737) or by clicking here: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
