We wanted a basic refrigerator, this was it. We needed a garage ready refrigerator/freezer for overflow for family events and our garden items that we freeze. Love it.

Our LG French Door went out on us for the second time in 4 years. It was nice to look at but really right down to it wasn't cracked up to what we paid for it. This last time it was not fixable. We heard that GE's we're good so we went with that. Really I have more room in it than I thought. I've only had it a week but so far so good. It freezes great and keeps the food in the fridge nice and cold. I am really happy that we got it. Oh...and it was much cheaper than the LG.

I bought this fridge in July 2022 to replace one that was very old and not cooling well. It is nice to have a fridge that cools. I am a single person so it is definitely all the capacity for me. One thing I will say is that because I am 6' 1". The fridge part does require me bending over (and if I am not careful bumping my head on the handle for the freezer). I do wish I had thought about that and maybe it would be nice to make a model with the fridge part on the top instead of the bottom to appeal to tall people. One other change I would make is I wish there would be wire shelves for it as well to make for easy cleaning where crumbs and spills would fall to the bottom and only the bottom would have to be cleaned instead of each shelf. Otherwise I am pleased.

not a good use of space in the refrigerator - when you shut the the freezer the the refidgerator opens and vice versa - not good

It is not unusual on a two-door refrigerator for one door to pop open when the other door is being closed. Air channels connect the refrigerator and freezer sections to allow air to pass between them. Slamming or vigorously pushing a door shut forces air from one cavity into the other, often pushing the second door open.
