Many good features but the bottom door shelf

I am finding the very bottom door shelf useless as it is too low to easily reach and I cannot see it when I am standing in front of the open door. The capacity and other features are good.
I JUST RECEIVED MY NEW REFRIGERATOR. LOVE THE LOOK OF IT AND IT SEEMS EASY TO CLEAN. NEVER OWNED A GENERAL ELECTRIC PRODUCT, BUT HEARD GOOD THINGS ABOUT THE REFRIGERATORS.
Overall it’s a great fridge. Lots of room and it fits easily in my small kitchen space. Shelving is sacious. It seems to be more energy efficient than my last fridge.
My refrigerator died with above 100 degree weather, was able to get the GE refrigerator quickly. The dimensions are the right fit for for the space I have. The configuration of the shelves work for me. This is rated as an efficiency refrigerator.
The shelving sits much deeper and lower in the frig so I have to bend over and reach in much further. Not good for aging backs. I do like that I can put a pitcher in the door. Makes it easy to grab. The vegetable drawers are smaller than the ones I had before. I like the size of the freezer. That’s all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This unit features two full-width adjustable shelves in the refrigerator compartment that can be elevated for ease of use and access. We would like to help with some information on how to adjust them. You can find additional information on page 6 of the owner’s manual here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--am5aW4wp--/68e6a94012712e9254a986f4235800dc26ec277e.pdf
We will pass your comments on the size of the drawers and the depth of the shelving along to our product design team.
