Very nice looking, lots of room for everything, keeps everything nice and cold. Only drawback the vegetable, meat, & fruit buns are not as deep as my old Kennore.

This frig offers everything I needed in a Garage Ready appliance. It's clean and polished looking. Has dual temp controls for frig and freezer. Has a good size freezer which was key for us. Also, enjoy the fact its a GE product.

Too Noisy for a Kitchen

Bought based on overall recommendation of GE refrigerators. Disappointed with compressor/fan noise volume. Apparently “Garage Refrigerator” model title means ignore the noise it generates. Product description should warn it is intended ONLY for use in a garage. In addition, glass panel insert of bottom shelf cannot fit and seat in its place in the shelf frame. Freezer door had a dent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The foam insulation used in new models has excellent insulating capabilities and is very energy efficient however it is not as sound absorbent as previously used fiberglass insulation.
Hard surfaces such as ceramic tile, vinyl or hardwood floors, walls and kitchen cabinets may make these operating sounds more noticeable. As a result, certain sounds may be unfamiliar on a new refrigerator at first.
