I love this Fridge!

The shelving is very unique, and the capacity that it can hold is very useful. The configuration settings are easy to use. Its efficient and can maintain temperature better than my old fridge.
This fridge was installed today. Replacement for my garage fridge that finally gave out (35+ year Kenmore Sears fridge). Basic and fits nicely as the overflow garage fridge. Only con I realized just today waa the freezer has no light?? Why not? Makes no sense not to have top and bottom sections lit up so you can see clearly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for leaving a review and we are glad your unit fits your space. We are going to pass your comments regarding freezer lights along to our product design team for review.
I can hear it when it's running, couldn't do that with last refrigerator, until compressor started to go out. Also don't like door shelving, very bottom shelf isn't very accessible..

We would like to provide some information regarding the sound level of the unit. It is oftentimes normal to hear the compressor of the refrigerator running. For additional information regarding normal sounds during operation, you can visit the following article: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=15901
The bottom shelf in door (the fresh food section) is shallower to allow room for the drawers to maximize fresh food storage.
This refrigerator can barely maintain adequate temperature at the lowest setting. It replaces a 25 year old Frigidaire of the same cubic ft capacity that would freeze milk if set lower that half the span of the temperature control. Also, due to the oversized freezer section it has a much smaller refrigerator section where more space is needed. One less shelf, miniscule crisper drawers. Everything in the refrigerator is lower due to the oversized freezer requiring you to get down on your knees to see items on the back of the lower shelf.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
