Good refrigerator but could use a few changes

Overall the refrigerator is good. Missing item that is important would be the current temperature display. Issues are the door in door feature latch could be less sensitive to close, requiring less force to latch. Opening and closing of freezer and refrigerator doors can be more smooth. Ice dispenser can flow more cleanly as not to spray ice chips.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice unit with a couple of needed improvements

This unit came with a new home purchase and the aesthetics are lovely. The only problem I am having is the water does not dispense cold, and the freezer door is very difficult to open. You have to tug on it and that often moves the entire refrigerator unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello - We appreciate you taking the time to share your review. We are glad you like the appearance of your new refrigerator. We can understand your concern about the dispenser water temperature. Bottom freezer and french door refrigerators have a water reservoir coil in the fresh food section that cools 16 oz. of water. The water is chilled and stored until it is needed. Since the reservoir is in the fresh food section, the water will not be ice-cold. After the 16 oz. of cold water is dispensed, any additional water dispensed will not be chilled until the water in the coil tubing has had time to chill again. We are sorry the freezer door is very difficult to open. You can rub paraffin wax on the hinge side of the door. Paraffin wax is used for canning purposes and can be purchased at most grocery stores.
Petroleum jelly can also be used.

Not off to a good start.

We woke up this morning to a burning odor coming from the brand new fridge. We have only had the fridge on for less than
2 weeks and this morning everything in the freezer is defrosted. Bad clicking sound coming from the freezer motor. Only able to get automated service on the phone and schedule an appointment for 10 days from now. Other than that it is a nice fridge.

Freezer is dark in less than a week

Nice fridge. So far seems very nice except today (5th day of ownership) the freezer lights are out. It's dark. Hard to see. No idea where the bulb is. Or if there are more than 1. What to do?

The absolute worst ice maker - complete waste of $

Ever since we got this refrigerator the ice maker has never worked properly. The cubes don’t form correctly, and when you try to dispense the ice all of it is stuck and frozen together in the unit itself. Furthermore, when we go to clear the blockage, we’ll usually find ice that has black spots on it from the mechanism itself. Absolute garbage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good but very noisy.

We really like the features of this refrigerator but it's extremely loud when it's running. If you nudge it or a little bump it will quite down for a few seconds but it's very irritating.

Good but broke after two years

We’ve really enjoyed this fridge and have has zero complaints on the performance but our compressor just died and it’s not even a full 2 years old! I can’t recommend because of that. This fridge was very expensive and for it to break shy of two years old is terrible.
