We're so sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the freezer section of your GE Profile Series refrigerator not cooling. We understand the disappointment and frustration this causes, and we truly apologize for the inconvenience.
This model has a 5-year warranty on any part of the sealed refrigerating system (the compressor, condenser, evaporator, and all connecting tubing) which fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship. During this limited five-year sealed refrigerating system warranty, GE Appliances will also provide, free of charge, all labor and related service to replace the defective part in the sealed refrigerating system.
To initiate a warranty claim, please refer to page 51 of the owners manual for instructions at the link below:

This frig seems solid and works well. Icemaker sounds like an industrial unit that will last.
