this is the best fridge I've ever used!!! I love that I can get filtered water or ice from the door. I am not sure that I like the drawers down below but that is not the fault of GE. Next time I will choose a different style.

French Door Refrigerator

We really like our new GE French Door refrigerator/freezer.
Removal of the protective wrapping is not easy. Needs instructions or a tool to facilitate.

Dumb extra, expensive filters

We did not choose this. It came with the house. Why on earth put a hot water feature in a refrigerator? Just one more thing to go wrong. Had to buy a new filter right away, and they are expensive. Next refrigerator we get will not have a water feature at all. We would rather have the extra space. That ice bucket takes up a LOT of room. Only thing we like is the good sized freezer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Plenty of room, looks nice

Love the look, features, size (for a counter depth), functionality. Very happy with our purchase! The only thing negative would be that the freezer drawer is tight and a little hard to open.

This refrigerator is spacious and well designed. Having the ice maker on the door frees up so much space in the fridge. The deep shelves on the other door allows for large items like milk and Coffee Mate and a number of small items to be stored on the door, again freeing up space within the fridge itself. Love the fridge!

Kitchen Remodel Complete!

We bought this product to replace our full size refrigerator that was just too big for the location as it just stuck out too far. A counter depth refrigerator was the way to go for us. We also got our water and ice in the door which our older refrigerator did not have and we missed terribly. It is so bright inside and so easy to see everything. Was worried freezer would be too small but with icemaker moved to door, we gained all that space back in the freezer so no issues!. WIFI will be great for monitoring ice capacity and filter status as well as starting the Keurig dispenser. Only thing I wish it was do is allow just hot water without a Keurig pod in place but not a big deal.
I would recommend this to a friend!
