Will be very helpful when bag is heavy. Didn't give a 5 because they are heavy and bulky. Like the bag, the straps are well made.

These seem to be good

These seem to be good quality waist straps. I like the pockets for storage, but it seems like these should have been included with the backpack as they make it much more comfortable when carrying heavier items in the pack.

I didn’t try them on a long trip yet, but what I have tested so far is a great feeling and reliable piece of gear, the only thing what I wish what could have been different would have been a little bit bigger pockets but it is fine at all!

The idea of the straps

The idea of the straps is great, but unfortunately, it causes the bag to sit funny on my butt. The way the bag sits, the corner of the bag digs into my butt and it is too uncomfortable to use for any period of time. I do like the large pockets on the straps.

It does help with easing

It does help with easing the weight load of the backpack. However, I've already adjusted to the min. length and it's still a little too long for me. Perhaps the design did not take into account of women's physique. The pocket is also hard to use while it's strapped. Even when it's not strapped, one can hardly fit the passport in it, just hard to use in general because it's very tight. Also, it was very misleading the way the website was designed, which lead to me buying this strap when one was already included in the backpack.

The Strap is every durable and more important comfortable! I recommend getting the strap as it will help stabilize your backpack when moving around.
