Hero 8 Rollcage saved my camera

Non branded bike mount snapped and Hero 8 fell lens first onto tarmac road surface. Would definitely have scratched my Hero’s lens without the Rollcage. Will never use cheap mounts again.

J’ai utiliser cette coque souple en VTT (cross country) fixé sur le guidon et les vibrations ont fait que j’ai perdu la vitre amovible devant donc la résistance n’est pas assez importante pour éviter de perdre le verre

Good but could be better

I bought the roll cage about a month ago and have been able to use it around the house and around the block. Very hard to do anything more then that during our current pandemic. It seems to work pretty good for what I spent on it. The problem I have come across is that while in use, I cannot use an external battery to keep it charged (understandable). Also, changing the batteries while it's on and using a mount of any sorts makes for a lot of lost time. Unscrewing, taking it out of the rollcage, replacing the battery and reassembling everything. Overall while it's on, I am quite happy with it but the battery swapping could be done a bit better.

Great way to protect your HERO8

Great way to protect your HERO8 from drops, scratches, and random debris hitting the camera. The protective lens easily pops in and out of place when you want it to, but also stays snugly in place when you need it most. The silicone sleeve offers a little added protection and it's easy to change the battery/SD without having to remove the entire Rollcage. Haven't noticed any reduction in audio or video quality, and honestly, the camera looks like a Boss in the Rollcage. Definitely recommend.
