Shorter than my old fridge but door holds more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this particular model online for several reasons: 1) It was on sale at a decent price, 2) it was rated well by consumers, and 3) I liked the idea of having stainless steel without fingerprints showing. So far I am pleased with how well it cools, with how easy it is to wipe the doors and keep them clean, and the amount of space inside the door. Although this refrigerator is shorter than my previous one, it has more storage space inside the fridge door. The only thing I am disappointed in is that the side of the fridge is made of the same material as my old fridge--that is to say it is not stainless steel on the sides.

Better than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 20+ old fridge passed away. Needed to replace stat. This fridge was on display and definitely check all the boxes. It holds more than the old one even though they are the same size. Cools or freeze everything quite fast. Very please with the purchase. Didn’t give five starts because when I close the bottom door, the top one opens slightly and sometimes stays open.

Roomy, Cold, Ergonomically Well-Designed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our old but very dependable fridge with this one, when the thermostat went bad after about 20 years, because the great price of this Frigidaire made replacement with extended warranty less risky than repair. The excellent design of this new Frigidaire model uses the same footprint as our old Maytag, but adds several extra cubic feet in both freezer and refrigerator, with roomier door shelves and larger compartments. The weight of the unit is greatly reduced, and the wheels are nearly frictionless, allowing the refrigerator to roll easily when the anti-tip front bolts are disengaged temporarily for cleaning under and behind the unit.
This refrigerator cools very quickly, and the recommended setting is quite cold. The freezer is pleasantly spacious. The insulation appears to be highly effective. The ergonomic recessed door handles are a pleasure to use. My favorite feature is the two double-wide racks in the bottom of the refrigerator door, which easily fit extra-large cartons, six-packs and 12-packs, and all sorts of things our old fridge door rejected.
We are quite happy with this refrigerator, and are really enjoying the sleek appearance, too.
