Love this ... with one exception...

I purchased this refrigerator in the fall of 2016 after considerable research while doing a major kitchen renovation. The one thing that I wished I had done was to compare it with the GE Cafe. The buttons (words) for "ice" and "water" do not light up on the Profile. There is a light line above the words that light up. When the lights are low in the room it is hard to read.
I also was going to purchase the Profile Induction Cooktop and when I asked about whether the controls would light up I was told NO. I was told the Cafe would light up however it was gray in color not black. (I was fine with that) Wished I had asked about the refrigerator and compared prices. It's only a little annoying.
Overall love all of my appliances...especially the vegetable drawers. The bottom one seems to keep salad vegetables fresher longer than my older GE Profile smaller refrigerator that I replaced this one with
The only reason I gave this refrigerator 4 stars is because of the words not being lite up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great replacement for our GE Monogram Built-In

Purchased 3 months ago and so far everything has been perfect. Needed a built-in model and this fix the cabinet opening perfectly. Free delivery and interest free financing were just icing on the cake.

Very Spacious

We are pleased with our new fridge. Looks and works great. Only request is for the water dispenser to be more powerful or the hose to be larger. It takes forever for a glass to fill

This is the second GE Profile for the family Love the change to the increased storage on the refrigerator side. LED lighting is great. Would have liked it if finger prints were less showy.

Problems since install

Our GE built-in has not worked properly since delivery. The gasket around the refrigerator door is not installed properly and leaks air intermittently. When it leaks air the unit goes into defrost mode and we end up with a large puddle of water on the floor. Also the wi-fi feature of the unit is not operational. Hopefully GE can replace the gasket and correct the wi-fi problem without any further issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible ice machine

We’ve had the fridge for about 3 years. The ice machine hasn’t worked properly from the start. It will make crushed ice when the cube option is selected. The ice maker has been replaced 2 times with no change in performance (warranty). Seems like a small issue, but its a big deal when you expect cubes and all this crushed ice goes everywhere.

STAY AWAY!!!

I bought this fridge in March 2021. It lasted 3 weeks before it died. After numerous attempts to fix it, GE replaced the fridge. My second fridge lasted 11 months, before it died in May 2022. The repair guys replaced every part imaginable in probably 6-8 visits. This is a terrible product. I want my money back!!!
