Good for the money

Purchased this model to replace the one (same style/brand) that died. The interior is larger than the older model, lighting and shelves are nice. Stays nice and cold. It is much louder than my older model. I often think the dishwasher is running it so loud. Also, when you use the water or ice in the door it drips onto a stainless steel plate and leaves water marks that are hard to get off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had to purchase a second one after 10 years to fit

We had to purchase this unit because our previous GE died after less then 10 years. It to fit i to existing cabinetry or we would have purchased anything but this unit!

I would give it 5 stars, but the freezer is a bit small. We had an older fridge (same dimensions) and somehow the freezer was larger.

Rust leaky fridge

I bought this fridge about 9 years ago.
It collects water on the top shelf. I have gotten it fixed from GE a few times, but the problem keeps coming back.
And now the steel finish is getting rusty.
Don't waste money in buying this fridge.

I'm giving it a 4 because there isn't as much space as you think there is, especially the freezer. It's not deep. Also, costly to install. Lastly, the ice maker drops crushed ice on the cubed setting, but it may just be because its the first fill. Its a nice looking fridge, though and has wifi for updates on filter, etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!
