Ice & Water maker a complete disaster!

We have had multiple problems with the ice and water maker in fact I’ve had this unit replaced twice in the past two years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tough next to cabinets

Even with a 90 degree setting, the door overlaps the cabinets next to it and has left a mark after one day. The fridge and freezer doors are not flush with each other or level (after fridge was installed and levelled). Also, shows every fingerprint.

So Large!

We are very happy with our GE Cafe refrigerator. We find that our food is staying fresher longer as the extra space allows for more breathing room for our food. We have had one issue with cooling but service tech came out immediately and repaired the issue. He did not work for GE but stated that this refrigerator should last us up to 10 years which is the main reason I wanted to purchase GE products. I will be buying the extended warranty through GE to ensure maximum life expectancy for this refrigerator. It truly is the most important and used appliance in our home.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It is not unusual to see a few drops of water dripping from the dispenser after having dispensed water. This is caused by pressure on the water line and changes in temperature causing some condensation to form and drip.
If water continues to drip long after the glass has been removed, we recommend taking advantage of your warranty by scheduling a service appointment with an authorized GE Appliance technician who can accurately diagnose and correct the issue. You can schedule an appointment online at: http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm

well lit frig!

This frig is very sleek, well lit and very spacious. Happy there is no egg storage which is such a waste of space.

Could use some better features

We bought this product for the handles, we wanted them to match the ovens. I like the look of GE Cafe line and we settled on the stainless. due to going with stainless I researched many built-in models and ultimately we decided to go with Cafe for the handles. These large refrigerators are almost all the same, very unexciting and very few features that I will use. Wifi? why? One had a camera inside.
I would have loved a quick cool drawer like I saw on some of the less expensive models in the appliance store. A beverage drawer or a place to keep my butter would have been a nice feature.
Also the water streams at the rate of a trickle from the water dispenser.
But my handles match.
I would recommend this to a friend!
