Everything you need and nothing you don't.

Right from the beginning I knew I would like this toaster. I loved the turquoise color as it came out of the box as well as the sleek lines of the unit. I liked the wide compartment that accomodated my sliced bagels and frozen french toast with ease. The browness gauge actually worked and the lift in the handle helped me get my english muffins out without having to fish it out or dumping crumbs on the counter.
My only complaint would be the disconcerting chemical odor that came from the unit on it's first use. Other than that, I've been more than pleased with this toaster.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful color!

When I first received the toaster, I was excited about its style. The color is adorable, and I love the modern, yet retro look that it has. It is a pretty good toaster, if you're using it for toast with regular size sandwich bread. The bread I like to use for toast is a bit wider than normal bread, and it doesn't fit very well. Bagels are a no-go with this toaster. For some reason, even with pressing the bagel button, it toasts both sides like it would with toast, and overcooks the bagel. I was disappointed with that. Overall, this is a pretty decent toaster if you're looking for a simple, two-slice toaster. I received this toaster for free and was asked to review it. This has been my honest opinion of this Oster toaster.

Great Toaster

This toaster is top notch. Toasts evenly and has extra wide slots for bagels and even muffins. I have had this for about a month and used it at least every other day. I have no complaints. The color is nice and modern. The frozen button worked great for frozen waffles. They came out very good. I found the best setting for my toast was at the dot between 4 and 5. It came out perfect. As for the extra wide slots, there are racks that come out when you push the lever down to hold bread in place. I recommend this toaster Highly.
I did receive this as a sample to try and test.

The Perfect Basic Toaster!

This toaster is very sleek, stylish and looks great on the countertop. It toasts to perfection every time. I love how it has a bagel setting so the outside of my bagels stay chewy while the inside is toasted. Even on the highest setting, it does not burn my toast which is great if I throw my bread in and forget about it. The only thing that I did not like about this toaster was the strong chemical-like odor when I opened the package. Luckily, the smell went away after I used the toaster for the first time. *Disclaimer: I was given this toaster as a sample. But if something ever happens to this toaster, I would definitely buy another Oster 2-Slice Toaster to replace it!

Easy to use, hard to clean.

At first I really liked the toaster because it was easy to use & the slots were wide. However, after using it for more than 10 times I didn't like how my bagels were toasted. I also didn't like how easy the toaster got marks on it. The top of the toaster by the slots gets dirty easily and its hard to clean it off. It's very pretty and easy to use. I received this item as a sample to review.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Consistent Toast

rated this toaster a five because it replaces another new toaster (4-slice, name brand) which was performing inconsistently. The Oster toaster is not only stunning to look at, it exceeds my expectations for toasting. It consistently produced even browning, no matter how often it was used. The levels of toasting range from 1-7, 4 being mid-range. I found that the level of browning was perfect once I found the number that correlated to how well done I like my toast. Although the toaster is somewhat lightweight, don't let that fool you with regards to the quality of this appliance; it browns perfectly without needing anything extra. Even though this toaster has limited bells and whistles, it does exactly what it should do-make a perfect piece of toast. The color and simple retro styling more than makes up for any lack of extra buttons. All the features are located on one side only and include Bagel, Frozen, and Cancel; the handle doubles as a means to lift your toast out of the toaster by lifting up on the handle. Overall, its sleek chrome paired with satin stainless steel finish make this toaster stand out as piece of beauty-I won't be hiding this toaster in the cupboards. This toaster was sent to me as a survey and I was to give my honest opinion; you can't go wrong with this one!

Amazing Toaster

I give this toaster 4 out of 5 stars. I love the color of it, and I think it looks very professional. The first time I tried it I burnt the toast. The second time it was too light. Finally the third time I got it just right and it was excellent. What a great toaster! Disclaimer: I received this toaster as a sample to review it.

Popping color

I love the popping color and the wide slots are perfect for French bread toasting. This toaster has many settings and that makes it easy for everyone in the family to have their toast the way they like it. There is one drawback the sides are not cool touch. You should be careful and make sure that things don't touch sides as it gets really warm, for that reason I am going the toaster 4 stars. I receiver this toaster for free to try it and give my review of it.
