Good Toaster did not last.

My wife was making toast the was a load pop and now only the IS elements heat and it does not stay down.

I have the blue toaster. Sure, it is pretty to look at but nothing else. At this point I don't even care about the uneven toasting or the simple fact that it does not even fit a standard sesame bagel. My biggest gripe is the crumbs. THEY ARE EVERYWHERE. I am not just talking about a few here and there. NO, they attack my counter. I clean the tray (which is a flimsy piece of metal that catches nothing) everyday and then shake it out over the garbage everyday. This does not even help. All this work and somehow at the slightest touch the dumb thing still leaves crumbs. I hate this machine with a passion. I don't even want to sell it as to not have others go through this problem. I understand toasters have normal crumb droppings, but this is excessive and I spend more time cleaning my counter due to the crumbs than I do toasting the darn bread.

The crumb catcher does NOT catch the crumbs. I am constantly cleaning crumbs off my counter.

Awesome Toaster with a great Retro Look

Once again Oster provides an awesome appliance. I received my Blue toaster on a Saturday an already used it over 10 times, it is perfect & even looks better in person. I was using my new Oster Confection oven to toast another great purchase but this little toaster is much faster. I love the little Blue light on it for Bagels. It did smoke a little on the first test but that went away. For the price it is a great buy. If it is Oster you know it is going to be great quality & the chrome trim on the front of the toaster really blings. Buy It!
I would recommend this to a friend!
