Not pleased

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this approx 8 months ago. Everything worked fine up until about 2 months ago. It would stop on spin and stay there. The appliance guy came and replaced the mother board, and it did it again. He came back out and replaced it again and contacted whirlpool just ro be told we had to change our speed of our internet. We just got internet in our area 2 months ago. We cannot change our speed on our internet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Died after four yrs of use

Spacious & efficient; worked great for four years when bought new in 2020, but then completely died in 2024. Deemed unrepairable after a number of new parts were installed by Tech and it still would not work. Had to buy a new washing machine. Thankfully, I purchased the five yr protection plan.

Cotton Candy Maker is Better!

This is a typical example of a giant machine that is practically useless, or at best too much consumption of time, money, water, and electricity. You initially would want to love it because of the size but you want to ditch it for all other reasons. It is not simply working right! The WIFI enabled broke within 2 months. This machine always gets an imbalance load even for any amount of laundry. The motor stops all the time, then it fills additional water 2 or more times to balance the load, thus wasting more water and electricity. It goes again for a very long time sometimes 2 hours, but once done, you will still see the soap sitting on top of the dry center and soiled laundry on top. It stirs the periphery of the bottom but the center remains unchanged. Comparatively, our water bill doubled with this machine. It quickly stops, imbalance, or not washing: 3 towels or more, full-size comforters or bigger, and many others. This is truly a Whirlpool disappointment.

Basically useless

This washer simply does not wash. Clothes come out smelling musty, dirt and lint just gets moved around and deposited on other things (see photos of "clean" clothes). SO much money for nothing. I'm pretty angry about it.

DO NOT PURCHASE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been the worst washing machine we have ever purchased. Within one month, the repair guy has been out twice. Once the washing machine was filling up with too much water and was not draining well and we kept getting this notification that it was rinsing with water that was too hot. Yesterday morning I tried to start a load before work and the washing machine wouldn’t even turn on. The repair guy came back out and replaced the whole panel.

Needs a better manual

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this model recently. We wanted to return to a top loader after having front loader past 5 years. My first issue was lack of a detailed manual. It’s basically a quick start format and did not go into detail regarding the icons on the screen and what they met. also would be nice on explaining the “other” button to help set up favorite cycle. My wife is still trying to get used to the low water levels the new models use to wash clothes. I guess the days of the water being at the top and aggressive agitators are gone. So guess she has to give it time. Still trying to determine if clothes are getting as clean as the front loader did.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Regretting purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a Whirlpool employee and we bought the dryer and matching washer around two months ago. They look great except what is the deal with the washer having black feet and the dryer having white feet? Looks like there should have been some coordination between teams. They also work great.....when they work. We are experiencing issues that on occasion they will not come on and respond to control selections. The only way to resolve the issue so far has been to unplug them, let them set for a bit, then plug them back in. After that the controls usually respond as selected. Especially given the cost of these appliances I am very disappointed and regretting this purchase.

Not Great stuff still dirty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pro to this machine is it’s huge and you can get a lot in one load. But the con is the clothes are not clean. Stuff in small and large loads alike come out dirty unless you use the ultra hot heavy duty two hour wash. Also constantly off balance.
