HORRIBLE!!!!!

Bought this washer when we moved into a new house 13 months ago. It has been a nightmare from the beginning. Constant error codes due to being off balance. It makes ungodly noises that scare all the pets. Have had repairmen out to look at it 4 times and they all say it is working properly. The latest repair visit was just days after the warranty expired. Washer is leaking during some loads. Repairman says he finds nothing wrong, suggests I put a towel on the floor in front of the washer. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst Washer Whirlpool Has Ever Made

Longer fill and wash times which means more energy. It does not take much to get the washer off balance. I understand the water saving settings, but this washer barely uses any water clothes are barely wet never clean. I personally miss being able select my water level. Even using the deep water cycle the machine barely fills or still senses the weight of your load. It does not dispense bleach at the appropriate wash cycle. Finally instruction manual is very vague doesn't give clear information or directions regarding use or cycles.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Machine works well. Manual included with machine contains very limited information. Called to ask questions. Was on hold for 30 minutes before reaching anyone. Once I did, she was unable to answer my questions. She put me on hold again & never returned. Called back. Got a different person who tried to assist me, but did not have any additional info than what is contained in the manual. Machine seems to be great, but needs a manual which explains all of its functions. It has been trial & error, and I still do not know how some of the features are intended to be used or their purpose.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this machine and have used it for about 2 weeks. I have previously owned 2 whirlpool front load washers over the last 20 or so years so I trust the whirlpool brand. I have been satisfied with the performance of this machine. I would suggest that whirlpool provide a more thorough manual for usage as it takes some trial and error to figure out all the settings. Also, on a couple of occasions, the machine has made lots of noise and moved around in the space where it was installed as the small load it was washing got out of balance. The noise and movement was a surprise so I sure hope there is nothing wrong with the one I purchased.

Always not draining

Bought one very much like this but not smart phone capable last year, it is broken again, will not drain. This will be 3rd time.

My washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the washer, just wish I was able to get it in the color I wanted, but I had to satisfy with the white one. In about a month or so, it stopped working everything just shut down. I had to call a technician and he came out and fixed it. I checked my electrical switch and it was working, i unplugged it and put it back in and nothing. I was very puzzled. He was not sure what the problem was either, so he unplugged it also and there it was it came on. Makes no sense to me either. I just wish Whirlpool would have came out with an agitator one also so that way you have a choice to pick which one you prefer. I would have gone with an agitator one. But it is what it is. Otherwise its a great buy.

Huge capacity

Bought this 2 weeks ago. Love the capacity, hate the electronic glitches!! Buttons do not work to turn on washer unless you unplug or go to fuse box. So incredibly inconvenient and irritating. I see others have this problem as well. What is whirlpool doing to fix this???

It's Pretty Cool

My 10+ year old Maytag with limited wash options finally bit the dust and we upgraded to this guy. This washing machine is a beast! I'm a bit OCD about the way the laundry is done and I'm just in love with how well this machine cleans. King sized comforters, sheets, outside hammocks, my son's gross gym clothes, curtains... I've washed them all and they all come out super fresh and clean.
I will say that the instructions it came with could be better. Considering my previous machine was so basic, I was a little overwhelmed with all of the options. The load and go feature is the most frustrating to figure out. How does it work? Is it enabled? Dispenser Disabled 1 Cycle -- what does that even mean? How do I enable it? (It's been a month and I still have no idea.) Searching for better instructions online only gives you help for the front loader. I finally downloaded the app which was a little more intuitive to use, but this feature still frustrates the bejesus me. The clothes come out clean, so I just let it be and fill the dispenser up when it tells me.
Overall, I love this machine. I just wish the user guide was more helpful.
