Best light for dog collar

I have been buying these carabiner lights for at least 9 years, and although they don't last forever, they last for quite a while and batteries can be bought for very little in bulk. I have three dogs and all of them wear a different color light.
I use the lights for leashed and off leash walks in the dark as well as for bike rides in the city when I want my dogs to be seen by others. For bike rides I use the flash setting which I find annoying to the eye, but excellent if it's important to be seen by others.
What I like most about these lights is how bright they are and how well the light is distributed. The whole light is illuminated by the LED bulb, so that the dog can be seen from several hundred yards away even if he is facing you from the side. Cheap imitation competitor lights I have tested just give off light to the front of the carabiner light, making the dog sometimes invisible or less visible than with the Nite Ize Spotlit. What set Nite Ize apart from competitor's lights was also the fact that they were offering multiple colored LED lights while competitors just used white LEDs and colored plastic. Unfortunately Nite Ize has stopped producing the blue and green LED Spotlits and has switched to colored plastic cover and white LED only. The only color they seemed to have kept is the red LED. The reason I find this so important to mention is that in my experience using these lights the lights are much brighter when the LED is in color compared to the LED being white and than covered with a colored plastic.
It would be awesome if they could bring back especially the green LED which was incredibly bright.
I will continue to buy Nite Ize lights (I have several for my bicycles and bike trailer as well) as they are easy to use, pretty durable and very affordable.

I was happy to receive this as a gift, however it doesn’t work if it’s not plugged into a charger. It works fine when plugged in, unfortunately that won’t help me keep my dog illuminated on our early morning runs.

Bright light, simple to use, inexpensive. The last is probably it's only problem; it may work for a year, or only a week. You get what you pay for. I buy 3 at a time.

Terrible product

I got 10 of these to put on my dogs to nite after a few times being used no longer work totally disappointed

Love these for night time potty breaks

The batteries died quicker then I expected. Please make a USB rechargeable collar light. It's not sustainable to replace batteries so frequently. :(

Great for night walks

Like them but break after about six weeks of use.
