Super bright long lasting battery charge. Mostly water proof. Only gripe is under vigorous thrashing n running it can come unhooked from collar. Only reason I ve had to replace them

Great concept, but easily lost

I’ve bought several of these for two of my dogs. They’re very bright and easily seen at night, but they will randomly come off the collar somehow. Sometimes, the light has flown off while my dog is shaking (like when the dog gets wet) and I can pick it up and put it back on, but other times, I’ll go to turn the light on before a walk and find it’s missing. There needs to be a better, more secure system to attach these to the dogs’ collars. Otherwise, they provide nice, bright light, the batteries are easily changed, they’re durable even in the rain, and they’re the perfect size so that they’re not too heavy (or hang low enough for the dog to be able to chew on it). The biggest downside is how many of them I’ve lost due to not being attached securely enough to the collar.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am able to see my dog when he is off lead and it is dark with this light. I find the white color works best in this regard. It is also nice to able recharge instead of replacing batteries. When done recharging make sure to firmly press on the middle and edges when putting the cover back for a secure fit. I also put duck tape around the clip for a secure fit because my dog runs at a high speed when he is off lead.

Very Poor Design

The light didnt cost much but you still expect it to work. Could not get the case to open at first. Finally got a kitchen paring knife and pried it open to detach the paper tab protecting the batteries. I could have cut myself. The instructions on the package were useless. Do you unscrew the light halves? Do you pry it open with something? Totally useless. After prying it open the front half of the case got a bit bent. Now it's almost useless. Do not buy this useless item!
