Won't charge

We really liked the collar light so decided to try the rechargeable option after the other one stopped working (understandably after about a year of use).
Unfortunately I don't think it was worth the extra money since it only accepted a charge once.

I have an old dog who does not hear well. At one time he would come when I called but now he can’t hear me but with this device I can see my black dog on the darkest of nights.

Lights still inoperable after battery change

I purchased three NITE Ize SpotLit. When they stopped working, I replaced the batteries and the lights still did not work. I read the reviews and others have had similar issues: maybe battery coating, maybe a lead or other connection is broken, maybe they are not made as sturdy as previously. Disappointed the lights don't work with a battery change.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have two dogs. Each night I put their lights on and take them for a walk. They are not on a leash and can run on my 2.5 acres and it is easy to keep track of them with their lights on. I use different colors for each dog.

I’ve had the original light on my dogs for years and was happy to see there was a rechargeable light now. Like the original it’s not easy to remove the cover. Oh well. I don’t want the silly disco light but two firm pushes gets the solid red and off we go into the pre dawn darkness. I now charge my flashlight and this collar light weekly and that covers pretty heavy use. My dog is a German shepherd so the extra weight and size are not a bother.
