Lots of features and functions well

My only drawback is I have to use time drying because the cycles don’t dry as indicated plus there is always a rattle from having them stacked.

terrible quality on my third unit

first unit i recieved had the wrong wifi sticker info on it, so the wifi didnt work, second unit stopped working on the second use, I am now on the third one in less than a month, terrible quality from GE

On the second day that we had the dryer, the temperature of the dryer no longer would heat up. We have to have a service call already!

Thanks for sharing your experience with your dryer. We understand that it can be troublesome to need service after such a short time, and we apologize. While you are awaiting service, there are some troubleshooting steps that you can take to get things running smoothly again.

To troubleshoot, check the building’s fuse/circuit breaker box and replace both fuses or reset both breakers. Your dryer may tumble if only one fuse is blown or one breaker tripped. NOTE: Some electric dryers use 2 fuses/breakers, make sure both are operating. Also, you can select another heat setting to see if it works.

Damp waistband. App is useless.

Clothes usually comes out damp around waistband, a minor annoyance. I can always push a few buttons on the fone app to have it spin a little more, maybe down to 2% damp. I can live with that. I have 5 Damprid package in the closet so a little moist from the just dried laundry load shudnt be a problem. Well….. wrong…..the app does nothing beside telling you what you already know: 1. Which cycle you’ve selected to run 2. The estimated time left which you’ve noted right after pushing the start button. That’s all this app can do. I mean…..the pics look nice and modernistic (great job graphic dpt) but structurally the app is unorganized and half assedly put together.
It’s such a struggle to use the app and a thorn in the eye every time the app notify you of the time left.
I like GE microwave and washer but this app for the dryer is underdeveloped. And all this came from a guy who cooks, and mostly uses Android, having no background in code or UI design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have to dry clothes 3x to get them dry.

I’ve always bought GE appliances and loved them, unfortunately this dryer doesn’t dry clothes very well at all. I have to run each load 2-3 times to get the clothes completely dry. I’m very disappointed with my purchase.

Best Dryer Ever
