Powerful dryer

So far this dryer is great. It is a better quality dryer. I recently purchased a Samsung that lasted 3 months. But that being said was a blessing in disguise because this GE dryer is so much nicer with a better selection of cycles and features. The capacity that it can hold is extremely convenient. I am pleased with the performance of this dryer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Look elsewhere for a better machine

Lint screen is bazaar! Lint keeps blowing back into clothes. It is harder than it needs to be to clean. The end of cycle alert signal is so quiet, it is useless. These two things alone would have made me seriously look at another manufacturer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to help out with the cleaning the lint filter and offer tips for preventing lint build-up. We recommend checking the ductwork and vent hose for any obstructions or kinks, this can cause the lint to not be properly filtered. You will also want to make sure that your outside wall cap is opening easily. Fabric softener can build-up on the filter overtime, this can be cleaned with warm soapy water. We recommend checking page 13 in the user manual here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--beuFygvM--/3e527ba7cf625f01cd601c06b2b68805397452dc.pdf for tips on cleaning the filter.
