Best Dryer I've Ever Had!

I purchased the 55 series dryer along with the 55 series washer, and so far it has meet all expectations and then some! And I am a really picky retired engineer. The dryer takes very little time to dry a load using the mixed load cycle on medium heat. And it dries everything completely, I retired my Korean set, which was an impeller type top load washer and matching dryer, which doesn't even hold a candle to this GE set. Anyway, don't hesitate considering this product, and I did ALOT of research (since I am retired with not a lot to do) and I'm glad we settled on this pair.

Great for a family of 6

This dryer is bigger than our last GE dryer which is great for our family of 6. The drying time for clothes has been reduced! (My previous GE set lasted 12 years!) My only issue is that the dryer sounds like my washer on a spin cycle so it is noisier than what I'm used to. I close the door to lessen the noise but was told this sound was normal.

One of the main reasons I went with GE was they are the only brand that makes reversible doors on both the washer and dryer. The quality is good and the price wasn’t bad either
