This dryer is larger than most standard sizes and I love how it accommodates larger loads. The cotton dry setting is the eco setting and is not meant to be a hot dry however I find the clothes are too damp to be removed when it shuts off. Ideally it should run another 5 minutes but the timed dry setting has a 10 minute minimum. On other cycles I’ve found the clothes to be plenty dry when I check on them and the time remaining on the display is still 12-20 minutes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there,
Thanks for your review. Happy to hear that you're a fan of the spaciousness of your dryer! If you're finding that your clothing is taking too long to dry, take a look at the following article to see if it helps matters: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18058
If you're finding that your clothing is still a little damp at the end of the cycle, you can run a Quick Dry cycle to quickly dry them the rest of the way.
This dryer was just delivered today. We’ve done at least 6 loads of laundry. Everything dries quickly. We did have one shirt casualty. Evidently somehow the edge of the sleeve got caught on the lint filter. We didn’t notice it until the load was done. The shirt was wrinkled and the end of the sleeve was twisted. I’m guessing this was just a freak thing though. We’ll keep an eye on it.
We have had this dryer for about a month. It works great, big loads in a 7.8 cu ft, including king bed covers. I am having only one issue in setting up the app on my smartphone as it is not connecting with the appliance but this could be for a wifi problem in the house.
