Dryer vent is horrendous to deal with. Otherwise a good efficient dryer.

We are happy to hear you are pleased with your dryer but sorry you had an issue with the vent. We recommend the flexible metal venting if at all possible. You can view the installation instructions starting on page 26. https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--beuFygvM--/3e527ba7cf625f01cd601c06b2b68805397452dc.pdf
Love capacity. Preset settings and setting options are spot on. Super quiet operation.only issue is the lint trap filter was made with defects when manufactured. The mesh does not properly fit frame leaving gaps that lint blows through
I would recommend this to a friend!

More than adequate dryer. Compared to my prior GE dryer that lasted 15 years this one collects lint more efficiently. The only down side is that the “normal” dry cycle often needs extra minutes added to complete the job.
The product last less 4 months before failing! Don't buy this product! The dryer no longer produces heat to dry anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to help out with your dryer not drying. We recommend first checking the ductwork behind the unit for any obstructions or kinks. This can cause improper airflow and drastically reduce the performance of the unit. You can also check that outside wall cap is opening easily. We also suggest checking the lint filter for any build-up of fabric softener residue, this can be cleaned using warm soapy water. You can check out additional troubleshooting tips here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=18058
Lint screen is bazaar! Lint keeps blowing back into clothes. It is harder than it needs to be to clean. The end of cycle alert signal is so quiet, it is useless. These two things alone would have made me seriously look at another manufacturer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to help out with the cleaning the lint filter and offer tips for preventing lint build-up. We recommend checking the ductwork and vent hose for any obstructions or kinks, this can cause the lint to not be properly filtered. You will also want to make sure that your outside wall cap is opening easily. Fabric softener can build-up on the filter overtime, this can be cleaned with warm soapy water. We recommend checking page 13 in the user manual here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--beuFygvM--/3e527ba7cf625f01cd601c06b2b68805397452dc.pdf for tips on cleaning the filter.
We will be passing your feedback about the end of cycle signal over to our product team to review.
