My GE Dryer

Out of all the dryers we've had over the years, this GE dryer, no hands down are the best one's we've owned. And as soon as we got the pedestals for both washer and dryer, this house husband was happy, happy, happy.

The machine works fine. I miss the permanent press option and the light that came on when the door is open that I had on my Samsung. Lots of features I don't use

Door is very unstable

The dryer door hangs and you have to push hard to get it to close. Th profile doesnt line up with the latch. I think GE should check into this issue immediately. It was suggested by the store that a warranty doesnt cover this issue because it is not affecting the drying system (I don't know that to be true-because i have to dry clothes twice on highest setting whereas my other dryer whirlpool dried them in one shot).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

An issue like the door not closing would be covered under warranty, so please call 1-800-432-2737 to set up service. If you are having to slam the door to shut it, we recommend scheduling service as soon as possible, as repeatedly slamming the door can cause more serious issues down the road.
