We have only had it a few days- overall seems to be good- It is louder than previous dryer- you can hear the barrel turning- and tha plastic on the door seems a little flimsy - it pushes in easily- but neither effects the drying abilities

Very efficient

Purchased new washer and dryer to replace a matching pair of GE washer and dryer that was 15 years old. Tried to repair the older models but parts are no longer offered. The new units are efficient, quiet and very large.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Okay Not Great

Large capacity, dries very quickly so it’s not in sync with the matching washer. Different wrinkle care feature, it just keeps running with no heat vs cycling on with heat for a minute or two every 5-10 minutes. Cycle complete sound is useless. You can’t hear it in another room, let alone another floor even when set at its loudest. You’re forced into using WiFi to get notified when complete. The lint collector also needs a redesign. It’s flimsy and awkward to clean.

For the money, it can't be beat!

My wife and I are really impressed with this GE dryer. Especially with the WiFi connection and the large 7.8 capacity. We love it. It's very quite. It has all of the dryer cycles you could want and is energy star rated.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When using the timed option, it dries okay. Otherwise, the settings are useless. The sensor functions never get everything completely dry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Dryer

Beautiful Well made sturdy dryer. I like the durability, performance and efficiency of GE products. The dryer has great capacity and easily fits a king size comforter. I haven’t tried all the features yet, but I especially like the wrinkle care, dewrinkle and quick dry settings.
