We love our dryer. It’s so big, it works great, and when we close the laundry room door, we don’t hear it working at all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi there- Thank you for taking the time to review your new dryer. We are thrilled that you love your dryer! The entire GE Appliances Team thanks you for being a valued consumer. Take care and thank you for choosing GE Appliances. -Krystal@GEA
I am extremely happy with the fact that there is no noise while the machine is loaded with laundry. In both instances with light or heavy load, there is no unwanted noise and my laundry is dried the way I set the cycle.
After only 2 uses the dryer broke. Waited 11 days for repairman only to be told he needed to order a new motor (REALLY??? after 2 uses?). Now waiting another week for the parts.

Goodness!
This is absolutely not the kind of thing we want to hear about. We're deeply sorry to hear that this has happened and understand how infuriating this must be. It's good to see that you have taken advantage of your warranty to schedule a service appointment and trust the tech will be able to resolve this matter. If you need anything else, please let us know. Mike@GEA
our lint trap is hard to use and it already broke, half the lint would be settled on top of the lint trap instead of inside it. Otherwise it is a great machine.

Hey,

So our previous GE dryer did a much better job at getting the clothes dry, it seems that the sensor does not work as good on this model, drying jeans and heavy items like them even on more dry are still lightly damp when the dryer is done. Also when running on bulky the sheets and blankets roll up into a burrito shape and we have to stop the dryer and untangle them, our previous GE dryer actually stopped and reversed the drum to stop this from happening, why they did not put it on this model is beyond me. Not to impressed with the drying capability of this machine. In a household that has lots of laundry, don't buy this model.

Hi,
Thank you so much for reviewing this dryer. We do apologize to hear that your clothes aren't getting as dry and understand how annoying that can be. Make sure that you are not overloading your dryer and that the items are loaded loosely. This can help improve dryer performance. Check out this article with some additional tips to improve drying performance.
This dryer gets barely warm. 2 weeks waiting for a service call, and they said everything looks okay, except a little lint stuck in vent. Still not working. Seriously, the only setting that gets warm (barely) is "sanitary". On that cycle it will dry a load of towels in about 4 hours. Now need to wait another 2 weeks for another service call.
