Had to return this washer because it was faulty. Drum was warped and literally ran across the laundry room floor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dryer works well, I enjoy the notification feature to let me know 5 minutes before it's done.
The auto sense works well

The GE FRONT LOAD WASHER AND DRYER ARE GREAT PRODUCTS.
We purchased a top load washer first. My wife is a bit verticly challanged and could not reach the clothes in the bottom of the washer. So we ended up sending them back and after much deliberation and fact checking we purchased the front load GE Washer and Dryer. Mainly because of the antibacterial system. They work great and no worries of germ or mildew problems. THANK GE
