Owned 3 weeks, keeps giving error codes. Don’t buy

This dries well and is efficient—it keeps giving error codes, however. Had it installed by the appliance store that sold it. I have owned this for three weeks, as of today. I have made the recommended checks and everything appears fine. This is too expensive to be throwing error codes already and need expensive repairs, even if under warranty. I would not recommend buying this dryer.

We recommend resetting your dryer by disconnecting power from the unit for 2 - 3 minutes and reconnecting power. If this reset does not revert the unit back to normal operating function, this will require service by a qualified technician. Another dead GE product

Dryer only lasted 4 years. We are a loyal GE family replacing all of our appliances in our home with GE only to have to replace again constantly. Service techs come out and just say replace not worth fixing. Very sad and what a waste of money, time and material.

I love the many options of cycle choices. The wifi option with the app really nice feature. I would buy this again if I needed a new dryer.

Great features.

I received my new washer and dryer today and so far ran 1 load. The washer and dryer fits well in my mud room and are both very quiet. The capacity and cycles are perfect for a family of 4 adults and 2 kids. I'm mostly looking forward to the WIFI connection and smart feature of both units. These appliances look good in my laundry room.

Overheats clothes on any setting, lint collector doesn't collect much of it, hard to load/unload, slow, wifi why?

We would recommend checking over the proper cycles for different fabrics, as this may reduce the overheating problem you described. Loud. And broken within a year.

Purchased this brand new for our new home. Has now been broken for 3 weeks. Trying to find a tech to repair it has been hard and expensive. Control board just stopped working on one side.
