Dryer stopped working after 4 years of use. Clothes will no longer get completely dry causing them to have a mildew smell to them. We've done nothing different and I've kept up with cleaning and went ahead and cleaned out every vent and crevice to see if there was a clog somewhere, and nothing. There has been no improvement. A part has failed somewhere and this clunker only has a 1 year warranty. It's a shame you can't get products that last anymore, and this will certainly be my last GE.

We are sorry to hear you are having this issue with your dryer. It is good to hear that you've cleaned out the venting to make sure there isn't a blockage. If you haven't already, we recommend making sure your Eco Dry is turned off. Cycle times will change when Eco Dry is selected. The Eco Dry option will default to "ON" for Cottons. For optimal energy savings, turn Eco Dry on. For optimal drying times, turn Eco Dry off. In the meantime, we'd like to check up on this and see if this helps. We will be reaching out to you via email to get more information. Thank you! Joyce@GEAppliances
Its the best dryer I've had in a very very long time. It dries clothes fast and it does exactly what you tell it to do! I love the app - nothing sits for long.
Love the capacity, large enough to handle all my loads. The cycles are very useful for determining different loads. The noise level is much softer than previous machines. So for the performance has been excellent. Haven't had long enough to address energy efficiency
