Heatless Dryer

Who designs a dryer that does not actually use heat to speed up drying - not a sarcastic question, I am trying to understand how a new dryer does not use heat to dry clothes. My GE dryer was delivered today and I have spent hours drying two loads of laundry (not big loads either). There is not heat being produced to speed up drying. It could be faulty installation, in which case the design that makes it hard to get the install correct is at fault. Disappointed with the product and hoping for a fast resolution so I can get laundry done.

Fine for a basic dryer. I guess I was expecting to love it a bit more since it was GE. There’s no steam function, so the “derringer” is just more heat. And I know this sounds petty, but the lint filter feels really cheap and flimsy. Dries the clothes, and that’s what I bought it for.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had to be serviced less than a week later as they installed the wrong software. Totally avoidable during the assembly process but GE would rather just box and ship and deal with it later at the consumer level. 1-Star
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very nice Dryer

This is a very nice dryer. Lots of drying options. Added bonus there is a light inside the drum when you open the door. There are a couple of things I'm not to crazy about though, the timer is in increments of 20 minutes. and if you want say 30 minutes you have to touch the minute time one minute by minute. The second item is the lint filter, which I did not notice when purchased is a two sided folding filter. which is more work to clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!
