Hi, Thanks for your purchase! New refrigerators do run for longer times than older models. Current refrigerator compressors are designed to run more than 80% to 90% of the time. Nice refrigerator

It's a good refrigerator except I have to position frozen foods in the freezer farther back in the freezer so the door doesn't push into them when it closes. My old frig was much better in that respect.

Not a great start

Unfortunately ours was defective when it arrived. Repair had to come hookup a fan that was not connected, and we lost the food in the fridge section because it did not get cold for 4 days until it got fixed. Seems to be running ok now but we are hoping no permanent damage was done to it. Temp holding at or slightly below 40 now. Other than that it’s a nice setup inside. The vegetable bins are a little smaller than we were used to but the freezer is a nice size.
I would recommend this to a friend!

simple refrigerator

the new unit has more usable space than our former larger side by side. The freezer is big and simple to use. The only drawback, for an old man is bending down to access the top shelf.

I've had my refrigerator for about 3 weeks now. I love it! I am limited is space so I can't have anything fancy, however it looks nice and modern, most of all the freezer space is big!!! That's great!

Perfect fridge for me. Was replacing a GE side by side fridge that had lasted about 20 years. Lots of space. Temp stays regulated. Lots of features. Like the fact that it has a deli drawer and gallon size area on the side. Love that the side panels are enclosed and nothing will fall out. Lots of freezer space. It is a little louder than I’m used to for a fridge but it’s really not a big deal. Made a perfect purchase!

Good for small spaces but noisy

This is a good fridge for small spaces; we didn't have room for anything larger. It's noisy; our previous 15 year old fridge was silent but this has a noisy fan that runs frequently. Our previous fridge was also stainless and didn't get as dirty as quickly as this one does; this one shows fingerprints and other smudges much more easily.

We purchased this item as a backup refrigerator for our basement. Our previous Whirlpool fridge lasted 21 years. We know G E makes fine products and hope this item lasts just as long.
