First online purchase due to the CORVID-19 pandemic. I grew up with GE products and never had an issue. Until now. My refrigerator was delivered this morning. I looks great and is a perfect size for me! Fans and motor were loud when it was plugged in. I loaded my groceries into the refrigerator and freezer. Left it alone for the temperatures to adjust. Four hours later the motor and fans are still load and I can hear them down a long hall and at the far end of my house which is about 65 to 70 feet away. I'm not sure how I'm going to sleep tonight.

So disappointed

After receiving this GE refrigerator as a replacement for the other GE trash I bought. I am noticing that this refrigerator is even worse. It just doesn’t get cold. At this point I think GE should just not make appliances anymore.

Too noisy

After the delivery men plugged it in, we became aware of the drone-like noise coming from it. We realized it was working to get the box down to temperature and 10 hours later it stopped. I had many a refrigerator in my life, but they were not as noisy as this one.

Hello - Thanks for sharing your experience. So sorry that your refrigerator is louder than expected. Our newer refrigerator models do sound different. You may hear a high pitched hum or pulsating sound, which is normal.

Could be better!

I feel that the sides of the refrigerator should have more spots to put the shelves. The controls for the coldness of the fridge are in a very inconvenient spot front snd center. It inhibits the use of tall containers to be either left or right of the control box. Very annoying.

Awkward Interior Design

The inside of this unit is very challenging to maximize space. Until you actually start to fill it up, do you find the design a challenge. You nearly have to get down on your knees to access items on the lower shelf. We are very disapointed.

The shelves are not the best for height adjustment Freezer droor is not tight enough to not react to shutting of the refrigerator door

This is the base model for this size. Lack luster. Only one control, 1-5 setting. The freezer is fine but the lower refrigerator section gets only around 40 degrees at the max setting. After one month, we called for service. The tech went straight to the back panel of the freezer and opened it. There is an adjustment for the amount of air to flow to the lower section (from the back side). I was hoping this secret adjustment would do the trick but NO, No, no. Food is still lingering around 40 degrees at the 4 setting. Also, the space is very limited.

Awful. I’ll never buy a GE refrigerator again

Had to wait 6 months for delivery. Received a defective fridge. Was replaced and then the replacement required service upon delivery.
