Solid, nice looking fridge

Bought this refrigerator to replace another manufacturer's french door that gave us nothing but problems. We like this fridge - it's good for a small space and the stainless matches our other appliances. The fridge and freezer seem to hold a lot, given it's size. I wish there was a wider dairy/meat drawer but it's standard in this type of fridge. The one complaint I have is the fridge is loud when it kicks on. I had read that from other reviews, so was aware but this fridge fit all our other requirements so we decided to give it a shot. I realize we didn't buy top of the line but I'm surprised that in today's technology all refrigerators don't run more quietly than older models. Other then that though, it's a solid fridge at a fairly good value.

Love the storage space in the doors

This replaced a similar model that was 26 years old. I like the ability to store frequently used items such as milk in the doors. The freezer needs to come with a second wire shelf. We did order it, but still have not received a delivery date.

A good smaller refrigerator

Only to issues we have found after a week.
- limited shelf placements particularly on the door. Could have been made more adjustable.
- Fan and perhaps the motor runs when the door has not been opened for a long time. Not sure what the energy usage will be. It is energy star certified but is puzzling about how much it is running.

nice size freezer compartment

The large freezer compartment is what sold me on the GE.Wish the freezer compartment had a light in it.The unit itself is noiser than my 22 year old jen-air it replace but i am learning to live with it.Hopefully this GE will be aa reliable as my jen-air was and it was still working when i decided to replace it with the GE with more freezer space
