LG draft ice maker stops working after 6 months

A little disappointed with LG draft ice maker. The advertisement regarding LG draft ice got my interest in purchasing this LG refrigerator; however, after 6 months of purchasing the refrigerator, the draft ice maker stops working. It started with leaking water and stop working altogether :-(. In addition, the glass shelves on the freezer side are not really stable especially when pulling out drawers right underneath, the shelves move with the pull out drawers and they do not stay in place. Also the refrigerator is making quite loud noise when it is filling up water to make ice in the regular icemaker (note: this refrigerator comes with 2 icemakers (draft and regular ice)

We bought this refrigerator last year and we absolutely love it! I love the see thru door, the easy open glass door to grab things quickly and easily. The ice is awesome. I also love that it makes craft ice. The only thing I feel that is missing is a cheese drawer. We just bought clear refrigerator organizers and used them for quick grab and go snacks, cheese and fruit. Overall this refrigerator was a great buy and an awesome find. We love it!

Bought this door within a door side by side and the 3rd LG refrigerator I have owned. The first side by side was terrific. The 2nd one with freezer drawers had problems constantly n the freezer section. The one now, the condenser went and LG did not see fit to issue a “recall” on the part. Per the LG guy who came out to repair said they, LG, just waited for people to call. SAY WHAT?? Now, refrigerator side is NOT keeping the food cold, LG has already replaced the condenser, which did fix the freezer issue. Now I am told by LG repair man, who is NOW in my kitchen putting in yet ANOTHER replacement part. Also, cannot keep the milk in the outer door? Say WHAT!!! Call me crazy, BUT, I would think that most families would keep their milk there for convenience sake if not for anything else. Why make a “spot” for a half gallon of let’s say MILK, if the refrigerator AREA on the OUTER DOOR is NOT made for cooling something like milk??? Also, the freezer side is NOT very wide, compared to my first LG side by side. In the future, I will not buy any appliance where one cannot see the actual product in person.
