[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ice from the ice maker tastes bad but hopefully the salesman who helped me choose this frig is correct, to give it a few weeks and it should taste better (because it’s new plastic & new unused ice maker), I hope he’s right. Other than that the refrigerator is wonderful. Will keep you updated as time goes on if the bad taste on the ice goes away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this refrigerator for about 6 months. It took four deliveries before I got one that was not damaged, and the damage did not occur in transit. It came in the box well packaged and I know the delivery was not the cause of the ongoing damage that was cosmetic. In the process of moving the refrigerators in and out multiple times, my floor was damaged. The glass door in the front is a unique feature but actually not all that beneficial. After a while you know what's on the door without having to turn the light on to see what's there, and I don't really feel it provides that much energy efficiency. The other thing that's very annoying is that the door alarms have no way to be shut off or to be reset to a longer time frame before the it goes off. It alarms after only about a minute. Too short for me. The greatest problem has been with the built-in ice maker. It's had to be repaired on two occasions in only 6 months with the same part going bad, in this case the valve that supplies the water to the trays. Overall the refrigerator is pretty good, but don't think I'd buy the same model again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only real con is the shelves are not as adjustable as i would have liked. I like having my tall drinks like soda and milk on the top shelf but you can only fit it on the bottom with some adjustments or in the door.
