Great looking toaster

Whis I had read these reviews before buying this toaster. Ours cook very uneven as some of the others have indicated. One side is over cooked and the other is undercooked. The next day it is different!!!!!.
Oster is usually good but not this time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used oster long slot toaster for past 7 years. The first one I used for almost 6 years, and we decided to get a new one same kind because we loved it. Unfortunately second one was lower quality and the toast holder in the center was too small. we had to be very carefull and putting bread or waffles on it, as they easily fell inside from sides of holder. BUT 4 days ago, our toaster caught fire! luckily I was right there and saw immediately, but the fire grew immediately and we had to run with the burning toaster outside of house as fast as we could. Don't know what happened and how it caught fire, but it was scary!! We were so scared, didn't think of taking photos or making video at that time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

4-Slice Long-Slot Toaster - 2 chances

I bought this toaster model over a year ago to replace a similar long-slot Oster we had used for many years. The lever will not stay down and I returned it for a replacement. Now a year later having the same problem. I believe this is an electrical problem. Have tried re-plugging in outlet and changing outlets. 1 year? Really? I expected more from an Oster brand. Very disappointed.

That is definitely not the kind of experience that we want you to have. If the lights on the Toaster are lighting up but the latch won't stay down to toast, try the following:

1. Unplug toaster
2. Wait 30 seconds
3. Plug toaster back in

So excited to buy a new toaster! Disappointed from the 1st. Does not toast evenly so have to pop up, turn, put back in toaster. Shouldn't have to babysit my toast. 3 stars for working.

In some cases, this is caused by a build up of crumbs in the bottom of the toaster. You may try to unplug the unit. Let it rest for few minutes and turn it upside down to see if some bread crumbs will come out. Afterwards, try using the toaster again. Also, the toaster must be plugged in to a direct wall outlet and have power running to it, otherwise the toaster will not work properly.

We had this toaster for two years and loved, suddenly stopped working

If your toaster is not working, it might be because the unit is not getting enough power from the wall outlet where it is currently plugged in or the wall outlet itself is a non working outlet. To remedy this issue, check if there is no physical damage on its cord and if there's none, try unplugging the toaster. Let the unit rest for 3-5 minutes. Afterwards, plug it into a different wall outlet. Do not use it with any extension cords, power strips and power converters or inverters as it may affect the toaster's performance.

For warranty claims, take note that your coffee maker has a year limited warranty. If in any case you are not satisfied with the quality of your unit, we'd like to request for you to contact us directly or fill in the "Contact us" link provided below so that we can provide you with a better solution. Slim length suitable for limited counter space.

We’ve had this toaster for going on 5 years and loved it- especially for the long sourdough breads we love.
Getting another since our toddler got a hold of some cooked veggies and stuffed them inside. 🫠
We’ve never used it above level 3.
I don’t understand toasters needing that many levels of burn.

No worries, we are here to help. If your toast is not toasting even, your toaster requires cleaning. Please see below cleaning steps:

- After use and before cleaning, unplug the toaster power cord from the power outlet and wait for the toaster to cool.
- Wipe the outside of the toaster with a damp cloth and then dry it with another cloth or paper towel. Do not use abrasive cleaners; they will damage the toaster's finish.
