I ordered the ThinkPad T495s 14 inch laptop with AMD ryzen processor. I purchased the computer mainly for work/productivity tasks.
I'm unsatisfied with the keyboard, because when typing very quickly, some letters do not register on the screen. There also seems to be a small, but noticeable lag, in the keyboard response time. Also, the keys feel like they are padded which reduces the "spring back" which allow me to type faster.
I've searched this problem online and it seems to be a pervasive issue with other models as well (can be tested by pressing the same key very quickly. You will notice that some strokes will be skipped on word or notepad).
Given that I bought this laptop specifically for productivity tasks, I find it takes longer to type than my previous laptop's keyboard (hp spectre x360) which could handle 100 wpm easy with no lag and with every stroke of the key registered.
