I ordered the ThinkPad T495s 14 inch laptop with AMD ryzen processor. I purchased the computer mainly for work/productivity tasks.
I'm unsatisfied with the keyboard, because when typing very quickly, some letters do not register on the screen. There also seems to be a small, but noticeable lag, in the keyboard response time. Also, the keys feel like they are padded which reduces the "spring back" which allow me to type faster. I've searched this problem online and it seems to be a pervasive issue with other models as well (can be tested by pressing the same key very quickly. You will notice that some strokes will be skipped on word or notepad). Given that I bought this laptop specifically for productivity tasks, I find it takes longer to type than my previous laptop's keyboard (hp spectre x360) which could handle 100 wpm easy with no lag and with every stroke of the key registered.
To date, the laptop functions ok for all other tasks and it's been about 1 month since I purchased the laptop.
Great machine - solidly built, rugged, durable, light, fast processor. Delivery (shipping) from Lenovo was slow (date changed multiple times, dragging it out for many weeks) but once I got the machine I must say it is excellent with the SSD and Ryzen CPU.
Great laptop, light, powerful, full features. Good business Laptop. Pleasantly surprised with good performance of AMD CPU and SSD drives, Highly recommend it.
A month after I purchased the laptop, had to give it to repair.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
