[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very light skin, dark hair, and followed the instructions, and this eliminated most of my leg hair with a few applications. Recommended!!
Important note: the instructions do not mention that you should NEVER PLUCK HAIR WITH TWEEZERS if you're doing any kind of laser or IPL treatments. A doctor told me this: Tweezing reactivates the hair follicle and basically cancels out any benefit of IPL or laser. You gotta SHAVE ONLY for a couple of weeks before you start using this device, and don't tweeze at all after that

Only downfall is I would love to use this on my face but I have such fine blonde hairs and most of these don’t work for that but I am trying it slowly since I do have sensitive skin and so far so good and not hurting or breaking my skin out. My legs and armpits do feel amazing! I am going to keep at it and hope for great results! So far so good! Game changer for sure! Cheaper than going to have it done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Growing up, I've tried everything from shaving, to hair removal creams to waxing, but nothing has really worked out in the long run. This hand held IPL device is the best! After my first use, I noticed that less hair was growing back on my legs. I have fair, sensitive skin and prone to breakouts when shaving. I’ve noticed less irritation since using this product. It’s clinically tested and FDA cleared. It’s gentle on my skin and easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I opened it up, I was actually scared to use it. But it’s very simple to use and I’m actually glad I got it. I love that it helps from hair growth happening so much. I feel that it’s gonna take some getting used to because it’s only recommended to only do once a week. I hate having hair on my chin so that’s where I’ll be doing my area. It doesn’t hurt and I’m looking to use it many more times.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun Silk·expert Pro 3 states that it causes a permanent hair reduction in just 3 months. I've been using it for just over 3 weeks and can attest that I already see less hair growth just after 2 uses. The directions recommend using it once a week but I have not so if you actually do you could see more of a reduction tha I do. I have patchy growth over my knees and shins with obvious areas where the hair has not returned. It supposed automatically adapts to skin tone and automatically sets the laser to the aptimal strength but I DID have to reduce the strength due to a burning/ stinging sensation at the automatic level. It has a precision head available but mine did not come with one. However the head that it came with has worked well for armpits, bikini area and legs. I have not tried it in smaller areas. It took me about 10 minutes per leg, but I may have been overly cautious about getting each area as the product infor that you get with it states you can get both legs in under 15 minutes. Overall, I would definitely recommend to those looking to reduce overall hair growth and reduce the amount of time that you spend on hair removal. I have dark hair and my skin tone is pale, for comparison.

Results in a very short time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this machine. I’ve only used it 3 weeks so far and I’m already seeing results. My hair is growing back finer. It’s very easy to use. I was surprised by how fast I can get my legs and under arms done. You only have to do it once a week so it’s only a small amount of time I need to dedicate to the process. If you hold the button down you can flash continuously and get a whole area done much quicker. Pain is very minimal. It just feels like a rubber band snapping on the skin. I’m really pleased with the results so far and I’m so excited to see the hair reduce even more over the next few weeks. Highly recommend.

I have been using it once per week on my chin, arms, and leg hair. It only takes about 5 mins per session, and I'm already seeing less growth than usual. I look forward to future results already. Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the Braun IPL PL3012 for several weeks, and I have used it 4 times, with one week between uses. I have fair/light skin (always burn without sunscreen, but can tan) and medium colored hair. The skin on my lower legs is not sensitive, but it is very sensitive on my inner thighs and bikini line and underarms, which makes shaving painful. I have not had any adverse effects or reactions to using this product.
The PL3012 is relatively easy to use. The biggest challenge for me was looking away from the device when the laser was in use. For this reason, I found it easier to use single pulses (stamp mode), move the device to the next spot, and then activate another single pulse. The head does gently glide along the skin if you choose to use the glide mode. There is a slight stinging in some areas that quickly goes away, but in most places there is only a warm sensation. It is very similar to how it felt when I had laser hair removal done at a salon, but much more affordable and easier to schedule.
The included booklet says it can take several uses over a few months to interrupt all the hair's growth cycles. Thus, I don't have significant results to report yet. I am optimistic that continued uses will reduce or eliminate my need to shave.
