[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Brown Silk Expert for about a month now and I am starting to see results!
This product is ready to use right out of the box and comes with detailed instructions.
The instructions state, to use it once a week for 12 weeks to get full results, but I am definitely already seeing improvement after a couple of uses. My hair is coming in lighter and growing back slower, I can't wait to see the end result.
Treatment is not painful, but it does get really warm and stings a little bit.
The storage case fits all parts nicely and secure and the extra long power cord is definitely a plus!

The best self care gift you can give

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had professional laser treatments done in an office setting before. In comparison, the Braun IPL laser hair removal system is the exact product to bring this high end treatment home for a much lower cost and bigger value. There are 3 different attachments included so that you can customize for the area you are treating. The guide included in the package suggests treating a small area as a test, and then treating once a week for 4-6 weeks. It is imperative you use the skin tone and body hair chart on the packaging to determine if you are a good candidate for this safe, effective treatment. In my experience, it hurt way less than I experienced in the professional setting, and I got to do it myself in the comfort of my own home. Stopping when I needed to, and resuming. I wouldn’t suggest any sun exposure for a couple days after treatment, so winter is the best time to handle the hair! The German design ensures you get a well made, quality instrument for such an important task. It is so effective, I won’t need it much longer!

We can assure you that our IPL is thoroughly evaluated to be safe when used as directed. Some people will experience slight discomfort (e.g. heat or redness of the skin) when using the device, and this is normal. You may feel heat and tingling when activating the flash, followed by redness in the skin, and this type of reaction usually disappears within 24 hours. We hope this is helpful. It Really Works! I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Braun Silk-expert Pro 3 hair removal system 3 1/2 weeks now and have seen great results. In the past, I've shaved my legs and used waxing strips to remove hair from by armpits and bikini line. This hair removal system takes a fraction of the time without the sticky mess or the pain of waxing strips. I have used this system once a week for 3 weeks and it takes me less than 5 minutes to use the system on my armpits, bikini line and legs. So far, I've noticed a significant reduction in the time it takes for stubble to appear (48 hours vs. 12) and in the amount of hair regrowth. The system produces a warm sensation on my skin but it is not at all painful.
So far, I am very pleased with the results of the Braun Silk-expert Pro 3 IPL hair removal system and am excited to see the results after using it for the recommended full 12 weeks. After that, the instructions say that the treatment will only be needed once per month.
I'm thrilled to have found an alternative to shaving and waxing that actually works and will recommend this hair removal system to my friends and family.

Say Goodbye to Your Shaver!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Couldn't wait to start using this! My advice in learning how to use this correctly is watch the video on their website. I used it twice before I realized I wasn't doing it right. Nonetheless, it is working! I decided to treat only the right side of my legs & armpits so I could compare IPL to the shaved side. VERY IMPRESSED! I have no new hair growth and no more razor stubble! Comes with everything you need, even a disposable shaver to get you started. Fast and painless, some warmth is emitted from the device but nothing uncomfortable. I had no reactions after use.

The unit is easy to use and the directions are very thorough. The device will not work if you don't have the correct contact with your skin. I was excited to try this in the winter months so that my legs will be ready once summer comes. The set comes with everything you need and then some. I can't wait to see the long term results of using this.

Worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is worth every penny. Over the last four weeks I have watched as next stubble slowly disappeared. My hair growth has significantly slowed down to the point that I can go an entire week without stubble. I can not wait to see those month long results that I am certain I will get from this. I was a little nervous my first time using it because it seemed so high tech and fancy but it’s super simple and the instructions leave no room for error. It really only takes about 10 minutes to treat everywhere. I couldn’t recommend this more it’s been such a game changer in my hair removing game. If I had to give it any criticism it would be that it came with a razor but not eye protection. I feel like how bright the light is can’t possibly be good for your eyes. Obviously don’t look right at it but def still very bright.
